Why Poker Face makes me happy and Fall For You makes me feel sad

I was doing a major iPod revision.I want my ipod to be clean and sophisticated SO i deleted all the unglam songs. First major pogrom ive ever conducted XD but back to the point, i was doing an ipod song revision and i decided to listen to some songs i havent listened to in a while (because i have an unfortunate tendency to get a new song and put it on repeat until i find a new song XD) ...

I re-fell in love with Coldplay's Viva La Vida and Violet Hill, and 3OH!3's Starstrukk and Don't Trust Me

I was then trying to get to ATL's Poppin' Champage (AWEHSUM SONG, along with the rest of ATL) but then accidentally clicked on Poker Face *diao*. immediate reaction? change song ... but then i heard that riff at the start and suddenly felt high and happy? Why? i didnt know at that time either... but I felt really good about myself (for once) THEN

I continued my revision and encountered Secondhand Serenade's Fall For You. It's an awehsum song, I have to admit, but listening to it again was a bad decision. I felt emo :( and got my inferiority complex back again...WHY??

I now know why. Because when I listened to these songs, something important happened in my life. Poker Face, i listened to when I was in DI. Spammed it on my iPod and phone - back when girls were STILL not important. Then, I listened to Fall for you when i got into RI and was crushing :( damn sad days. When I listened to those songs, I attached my emotions during those times to the song *gasps* ...And now it serves as a painful reminder... of good times gone and depressing times still present ...
