Gallagher: [curiously] What?
Alistair: Anti-abortionists rantin' 'bout how abortion ain't moral.
Gallagher: Well, it's immoral, ain't it?
Alistair: I don't see how abandoning 'em helps 'em either.
Gallagher: I'm sorry?
Alistair: You ever realized how anti-abortionists go on an' on an' on 'bout how we shouldn't kill no foetuses but don't go on to talk 'bout how they should be brought up? Hmm? They abandon the child the moment it's born. They don't care. They've done their job an' saved the foetus, who cares 'bout it now?

Isn't it funny how anti-abortionists go on and on about how killing foetuses is immoral? Well, I agree that it is immoral but I also find it funny that once the child is born, they don't care about it. They don't care about the failing education system, hunger, poverty, family issues, nothing. Kinda funny how they aim to save lives then leave them to die afterwards. Personally, I think that people should first focus on the infrastructure and give support to these newborns as they grow up so that they don't end up sweeping the street or begging others for alms BEFORE they even think about saving babies. They'd be happier, no?
But now comes the question, more or less? Should we 'sacrifice' some babies to ensure that the rest are happier or should we we keep them all alive but in which many are impoverished, hungry and lead lives not worth living? Just something to think about.
